Church?

Church can mean a lot of different things to different people. For us church is first of all a community of people, not a building or a meeting once a week. It's a space to ask questions, to be real, to explore, grow and discover together.

We gather together in all our difference, our messiness, our good points and our bad. We do this thing called 'Life' together: we share the journey, whether the going is smooth or rocky.

Maybe you've been involved with a church before, or maybe you've never stepped foot inside one in your life. We hope you'll find The Shore Community a friendly, easy-going, yet inspiring church to connect with; A 'spiritual, but not religious' environment where you can be yourself, wherever you are on the journey.

As a church, we want to play our part in the good things that we believe God is up to in this world! We're passionate about the place we live and want to see our community thriving. We regularly support several brilliant local charities such as Bognor Foodbank, My Sisters' House and Men's Shed.
