The Shore Community ChurchThe Shore Community Church is blessed with a large modern building including a large hall and separate function rooms which can be hired for a range of occasions including wedding receptions at competitive rates. We also have a spacious lounge and cafe facilities on site which may be accessible during your booking.
There are a good number of free car parking spaces at the front of the building and most of our facilities are wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Toilets and baby change facilities are also available on site. In addition free WiFi can be accessed by request.

To make a booking or arrange a visit please contact the Church Office on 01243 821 891 Monday to Thursday morning from 9.00am to 12.30pm or email bookings@theshorecommunity.church. The Main Hall is a large flexible space suitable for larger events including music and exercise groups and even wedding receptions. The room opens approximately 10.50m x 18m of useable space ( 10.50m x 25m overall including stage area and back of hall) and is suitable for events with between 50 and 180 people maximum. Tables and chairs are available on request to use during your booking. In addition a comprehensive audio PA system is available to hire which is suitable for live bands and events with the capability to stream and record video. Additional charges apply for these facilities as dedicated technicians will be required for the event; so please ask for more details when booking this facility.
A modern, light and spacious room suitable for a range of medium size groups including exercise groups, training groups, toddler/baby groups and children’s parties (ages 12 and under). The room is situated on the ground floor and is approximately 10.5 by 8.5 metres and is suitable for events with an occupancy range from 25 to 50 people maximum. There is a kitchenette in the room including a hot water urn, sink, microwave and kettle giving you the option to make drinks and heat food or drinks. Two unisex toilets and baby change facilities can also be accessed through interlinked doors just off the room. There is also easy access to a unisex disabled toilet. Additional tables and chairs are also available for use along with a flip chart and TV.
A relaxed modern meeting room suitable for smaller sized groups. The room dimensions are approximately 8.5 by 10.5 metres and is suitable for events with an occupancy range of between 1 to 25 people maximum. Comfortable sofas are available for up to 10 people with two additional fabric seats and some standard chairs. The room has its own unisex toilet, flip chart and TV. The perfect venue for training and coaching sessions. However please note that the room can only be accessed via stairs.
Exclusive use of the Main Hall, Shore Studio, Main Kitchen and Lounge area can be booked for wedding reception events at affordable rates on Saturdays. Please contact the Church Office to discuss this further.
